Welcome to the White Lion, a traditional pub with great beers and a huge beer garden – the pride of Baldock!

Bursting with character, the White Lion pub sits proudly in the middle of the High Street in Baldock serving great beers with a huge beer garden. The historic pub is dog friendly and has been here since at least 1839 when the first publican, John Little was recorded.

Great Beer

Choose from a selection of real ales, lagers and cider on tap, including our specially brewed ‘Baldock Pride’ ale with a subtle hoppy character. We have a great selection of wines and spirits too, so there is something for everyone to choose from. Throughout the summer we have several festivals, specialising in; beer, gin and rum. We have a huge, fully enclosed beer garden and plenty of room inside at the bar too. The White Lion is a dog friendly pub , and we welcome well behaved dogs into our beer gardens and bar area. We serve a large selection of beers, real ales, ciders, lagers and a comprehensive selection of wines and spirits.
